We take great pride in curating our  panels of Instructors/Speakers/Artists. Some values that drive our selection process:

  1. Quality & Experience: Qualified, experienced and authentic instructors/speakers, who walk their talk and embrace a yogic lifestyle outside their teaching settings. Most of them will have 10+ years experience in their fields.

  2. Equality: We strive to achieve a 50/50 ratio of males and females in the panel of instructors/speakers/artists

  3. Inclusivity: Our panel of speakers will represent the racial profile of this country, about 60% European American (Caucasian) while the rest will be Asian American, African American, Latin American, Native American.

We also take pride in making the festival affordable. Yoga has reach most of the people who can afford it. But there are millions more who need it but cannot afford it. We would like to change that. Tickets to Moksha festival cost much less than many other events of similar size and nature. For little as $40 one may purchase a workshop pass or music pass and attend 3-4 workshops or music concerts and enjoy a festival experience, that would normally cost them 3 times.

Yoga is one of the six systems of Indian philosophy. It is a sciene of self realization. It is much more than Asana (physical postures). Yoga is a combination of physical, mental and spiritual practices, built on a strong foundation of morals and disciplines. At Moksha, we would like to bring more awareness to all these aspects of yoga and offer a rewarding spiritual experience through the various paths of enlightenment:

  • Raja Yoga: Asana (postures), Pranayama (breathwork) , Meditation, Yama (Morals) & Niyama (Disciplines)

  • Bhakti Yoga: Kirtans & Sacred Music & Dance.

  • Jnana Yoga: Lectures & Workshops on topics such as Yoga Philosophy, Vedanta, Ayurveda, Vaastu, Jyotish.

  • Karma Yoga: Volunteering for Moksha festivals advocacy for various yoga initiatives
